Magnetic Line in the Galapagos
The center of the Earth lies in Quito, Ecuador at 0 degrees Latitude, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. The magnetic line running through the middle of the Earth is exactly half way in between the North and South Poles, it is known as the Equator. While standing on the Equator you will weigh about 2 pounds lighter because the gravitational pull is weaker the further away you are from the Poles.
Do to less gravitational force on the equator do you think you would be able to jump higher while standing on the 0 degrees line?
